Have you seen this hot-off-the-press poster at the Science Centre Singapore?

Nature calls!
Nature calls!

Yes, in a week’s time, we are going to launch our latest guidebook “A Guide to the Native Palms of Singapore” and “iSpied”, an iPhone nature app that you can use to observe and record sightings of the plants and animals around you. Lots of efforts had gone into the production of the guidebook and the mobile phone app by our team and it is exciting to see it in your hands (and handphones)!

Check out some of the behind-the-scene photos in preparation of the native palms mini-exhibition to be held in conjunction with the launch event.

We are honoured that two of the writers who co-authored this guidebook, Adrian Loo (Gardens by the Bay) and Ang Wee Foong (National Parks Board, Singapore), will be with us to share their inspirations behind the book. Come join us for this event that is happening on 20 September (Sat), 10am – 12noon at Science Centre Singapore. Grab the chance to speak with the authors and the team behind the scene!

Pre-registration is required at http://bit.ly/SCSlaunch. We hope to see you there!
